Review this book!
This poignant middle-grade fantasy by the author of THE GIVER concerns the power of dreams. The tiny, gentle dream-givers visit an assigned home at night, gathering memories from the owner's possessions through touch, weaving them into a dream, and bestowing that dream on the human who lives there. Littlest One, a young and ever-curious dream-giver, learns her trade from Thin Elderly, in the house of a retired teacher who has recently taken in John, a troubled eight-year-old foster child. Unfortunately, John is also the prey of the Sinisteeds, dream-givers gone wrong who inflict nightmares instead of bestowing pleasant dreams.
