Media Reviews
"...Wolfe is not really a writer to look to for conclusions....[H]e clumsily melds diverse bodies of European philosophical thought into a single target which is easier to hit. Given that he constantly stresses the importance of facts..., he does not seem to have tried to grapple with the facts of these complex fields. Any current of thought with a European source is an enemy here, to set beside New York and its institutions: the New Yorker, the New York Review of Books, the Ivy League universities, and so on."
