This rollicking farce by a former FRASIER producer continues the adventures of struggling writers Philip, Claire, and Gilbert, last seen in PUTTING ON THE RITZ. Although Philip and Claire are dubious when Gilbert announces that he's gotten them all a gig adapting a novel for a big-name blockbuster film, they decide to exchange their miserable lives in New York for the bright lights of Hollywood. Once there, they discover that in order to keep their new job, they've got to offer some assistance to the two stars attached to the film, Diana Malenfant and her son, gorgeous closeted gay action hero Stephen Donato. Philip hires himself out as ghostwriter to Diana's vindictive sister Lily, so that he (and Diana and Stephen) can get the inside scoop on Lily's planned memoir, which will expose several secrets that Diana and Stephen would prefer to keep quiet, including Stephen's sexual orientation. Naturally, a myriad of wacky complications ensue.
