Review this book!

This picture-book biography tells the story of Maria Tallchief's childhood and adolescence. Maria was born on an Indian Reservation in Fairfax, Oklahoma, in 1925. Ever since she was a little girl, Maria loved to sing and dance as much as she could. When the family moved to Los Angeles, she started taking music lessons, and everyone loved her lovely voice. She began taking dance lessons with the infamous Bronislava Nijinska, and soon moved on to the Ballet Russe De Monte Carlo, where she was a solo dancer. From then on, her name was synonymous with grace, beauty, and radiance. Maria Tallchief retired from dance in 1965.
