The Lost World
by Michael Crichton
Review this book!
With a title that frankly pays homage to a major influence--Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who penned many a Sherlock Holmes adventure--LOST WORLD follows up on the wildly popular (and lucrative) JURASSIC PARK. The plot and characters might invoke some déjà vu, although now the dinos are on a different island. But why mess with success? Readers who enjoyed the JURASSIC oos and aws are sure to enjoy those of LOST WORLD as well.

Publisher Notes
Six years after the secret disaster at Jurassic Park and the destruction of the dinosaurs, the dismantling of the park, and the closing of the island, rumors persist that some form of life has survived.
Media Reviews
"Pell-mell action and hairbreadth escapes, plus periodic commentary on the uses and abuses of science: the admirable Crichton keeps the pot boiling throughout."
