Welcome to Vintage Books, an independent family owned bookstore and mail order business. We have been serving book-lovers and auto enthusiasts for over 29 years. We've always put our priority where our hearts are: the best book selection we can offer and the most knowledgeable, dedicated staff. Our staff are all passionate readers-- the diversity of our preferences can be seen on our "staff choices" shelves. We work hard to make your book buying experience easy, and treat your books with the care we would treat our own. If you were to visit our physical store, youd find us to be pretty low key. Plain pine bookcases, old rugs, old chairs and a small couch in the children's area. Blank vertical surfaces are covered with old ads, sayings, booklists and displayed books. We are unable to list our extensive selection of used paperbacks, some of the automotive items and hardbacks on-line, because our inventory changes daily.Specializing in: Automotive Cookbooks History Juvenile Literature Mysteries Science Fiction

Wolfgang Books
Open book store
Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, United States
Wolfgang Books is a safe haven for readers, intellectuals, escapists, poets (traditional and rogue), radicals, wanderers, dreamers and anyone else who feels inclined to walk up the 26 steps to visit. Wolfgang Books began in early 2004 as a bit of a dream, and over the past five years has emerged as one of the most unique and innovative bookstores in the Philadelphia area. We are honored to have been voted the Best Bookstore in Philadelphia by myfoxphilly.com in both 2007 and 2008. The first two years were spent listing used and rare books online and selling used books on sidewalks and college campuses. The retail store opened on May 5, 2006 with the goal of creating a welcoming and inspiring bookstore experience at a time when those things are regrettably elusive. The backbone of Wolfgang Books, as with any good bookstore, is the carefully chosen inventory. Our shelves and tables are filled with new, used and rare books of distinction that comprise a general collection that is generally literary. New and used books are shelved side by side, as was once the common practice. Our used books are selected with discretion to avoid the need to sort through a shelf in search of one worthwhile title, but also in recognition of the sublime pleasure in finding a neglected or forgotten book from a previous time. New books are chosen in much the same way, and our ever-expanding selection features the new releases, established and emerging classics as well as children’s books. Small and local publishers also have a home here, as do contemporary and classic works in translation. Collectible and rare books are priced fairly, and we are happy to answer any questions regarding these volumes. We invite you to take advantage of our sun porch reading room overlooking historic Phoenixville, which is also available for book groups and other similar gatherings. This is a troubled time for the culture of the book, but we are committed to making sure that the written word endures. We hope that you will take the time to visit Wolfgang Books and experience our take on dignified bohemia.Specializing in: Gift Reccomendations Modern First Editions Rare & Collectible Copies Reading Copies Of Merit
