Mexico City: Editorial Fischgrund, 1949. First edition. Stiff Wraps. Very Good/very good. Valdiosera, Ramón. First Edition, 1949. Editorial Fischgrund. 8vo. 16-page booklet and 12 full-color plates laid into stiff card folder, in dust wrapper with illustrated cover and glassine wrapper attached to folder with tape. Illustrations by Ramón Valdiosera. Text in English, translated from the Spanish by Ruth Poyo. Very Good, damp stain to tail of spine and part of lower edge of front cover of folder, 1/8" pieces missing from head and tail of spine, minor age-toning to booklet and plates, all plates have very small pinholes to corners and/or top and bottom edges, Plate 1 has erasure mark to upper left corner, Plate 10 has three patches of abrasion (each 1" or less) on left half of page, not affecting actual illustration, in Very Good dust wrapper with minor age-toning, chipping to head and tail of spine, in Very Good glassine wrapper with 1/4" closed tear to fore edge of rear cover, two 1/2" tears to front and rear flaps, chipping to head and tail of spine, overall age-toning. Attractive copy.
