Racine, WI: Whitman, 1944. First Edition (#2210). Hard Cover. Good/Good. Janet Robson. Text is clean and bright. Cover has two missing pieces on spine edge. Very neat gift inscription on fly page "Happy birthday 1944" Rare dust jacket has three holes on spine edge and some rubbing along the edges and tips. It has chips (with missing pieces) on spine edge, wrinkles and tears that have been tape-repaired from the inside. Cover art and matching jacket has small boy with puppy and candle climbing stairs on his way to "beddy bye". Overall a nice copy... 10x7.
