Harper & Brothers Publishers; London. Good with no dust jacket 1912. Hardcover. Binding has worn tips, one worn down to page level. Small stains on page ends. Penciled scribble on one page, does not obscure text. Strange little book, possibly a library rebind. Has stiff green end papers. ; Specimens from the works of Mark Twain. Copies of illustrations and pages. Includes the page with the steel-engraved facsimile of a handwritten statement and signature that reads: "This is the authorized Uniform Edition of all my books. Mark Twain. " Inside rear board contains a portion of the red binding from the Harpers volume of Tom Sawyer. Frontis photo of Mark Twain, 1906. ; 7 1/2 x 5" .
