Imprinted at London : By Robert Barker, Printer to the King's most Excellent Majestie, 1614. 0. A very good full calf binding. 4to. 8.75" x 6.5" x 3.00". Dark brown calf, with 5 raised bands to spine. Inner hinges carefully strengthened. Endpapers with hand written contemporary prayers . Engraved general title with heart-shaped centre, dated 1614 (lightly soiled), verso with; "Of the incomparable Treasure...". Followed by; To the Christian Reader, with "How to take profit..." to the verso. Old Testament ends on f.358. Apocrypha f.359 - f.435 (3 leaves with 10% loss to lower edges). Engraved title to the New Testament, also dated 1613. Followed by 3 leaves of preliminaries, ending with; "The names and order of all the Bookes..." New Testament starts on f.441 and ends on f.554. Bound with: "Two right profitable and fruitfull Concordances...Robert Barker, 1608", ending with colophon dated 1608. Clear black letter text throughout. Pages lightly soiled. A well bound Bible.
