Cloth moderately worn and rubbed at edges, rubbed through and rounded at corners. Spine tips rubbed and round. Cloth darkened and marked. Hinges cracked, the rear one almost wholly so. A little faint smudging on endpapers, short and mild corner crease affecting first few leaves, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A wonderful collection of humourously related pen portraits and comment articles, all elegantly and wittily illustrated with engravings.
