Some foxing to inside covers, endpapers and edges of reading block. ; Petrol blue cloth boards with white lettering to spine and motif to front board. Nice tight copy, no names inside. ; Photographs; 256 pages; An account of an incredible journey, or more accurately a wandering, from the Pacific to the Golden Horn. Having sailed to the Solomon Islands from England in an 80ft ketch the author caught a cargo boat to Australia, hitch-hiked from Sydney to Adelaide working on a sheep station on the way, thence to the Himalayas for a spot of climbing and then overland to Turkey. .
