While specialising in coverage of things historical, this also deals with biography, astronomy, astrology, mythology and more. Similar to <B><I>Guy's General School Question Book</b></I> by Joseph Guy, who was involved in efforts to revise later editions of this book. Covers (black leather with elaborate blind-stamped decor and gilt titles to spine) is lightly edgeworn. Textblock is lightly foxed and tanned, but generally clean and tight. Page edges tinted red..
