New York: Harper & Brothers, 1961. Stated First edition. Original Cloth. Good +/good. 432 pages. A collection of essays outlining the system of thought that is evolutionary humanism. Black cloth binding with gilt lettering on spine and gilt publisher's symbol on front cover, decorated yellow end papers, rough cut leading page edges. Some light spotting and a little edge wear, light bumping of corners and spine ends, interior pages lightly tanned with a few creased corners and a few pencil notations. Burgundy dust jacket with white and gold lettering is spotted, shows some edge wear with creases along edges, small chips in edges at back, not price clipped.
