Moscow: Visual Arts, 1981. The book is in the Russian Language. The descriptive translations below are taken from the cover and translated largely by Google, so please forgive the inconsistencies in grammar. The Kukryniksy were three caricaturists/cartoonists in the USSR with a recognizable style. "Kukryniksy" was a collective name derived from the combined names of three caricaturists, Mikhail Kupriyanov, Porfiri Krylov , and Nikolai Sokolov, who had met at VKhUTEMAS, a Moscow art school, in the early 1920s. The three began drawing caricatures under the joint signature in 1924. From the compiler: "This book conatins favorite caricatures and parodies, published since 1927 in the pages of "Spotlight", "a literary post". "For the proletarian art", "crocodile" and others, and also published in the following publications: 1. About ... Archangel - Kukryniksy: The Album. - M: Land and factory, 1930. 2. Almost portraits. Kukryniksy - Archangel: Friendly cartoons and epigrams: The Album. - M: The Federation, 1932. 3. KarikaRodii (Cartoons Parody). Archangel - Kukryniksy: The Album. - JI: Fiction, 1935. 4. LitOratory. Caricatures - Kukryniksy. Epigram - Arkhangelsk, Bezymenskii, Sweden album. - Moscow: Soviet Writer, 1935. 5. Favorites. Alexander Archangel - Parody, epigrams, satire. Figures Kukryniksi: The Album. M: Fiction, 1941. 6. Friendly cartoons. Kukryniksy: The Album. - M: 1947. - (Library of the "Crocodile", ? 16). 7. Masters of Soviet cartoons. Kukryniksy. Railway. Old Moscow. Domestic. "Oh crap." "From the Renaissance to the abstract." Album. - M: Crocodile, 1961. 8. "Is that me?" Kukryniksy. Sharjah. A. Raskin. Epigrams. Album. - M: Arts, 1968. 9. Three of them. Kukryniksy. - Moscow: Soviet artist, 1975. A number of drawings are featured for the first time. Variants of individual works made by artists especially for this book. With pictures in the album, the authors did not follow a strict chronology. Here is the work of the 20's, 30's and the post-war period. Within these main parts of the sequence of figures largely corresponds to the construction of the introductory article. The texts of the Archangel, Ruskin and other poets are given for the above publications. A parody of poetry and prose Bezymenskii B. Kataeva written to earlier versions of cartoons. Drawings, to which there is no literary accompaniment, are published without texts. DJ worn and chipped, book clean inside.
