Half brown calf with marbled paper boards, gilt lettering on spine. 4 raised bands. Marbled endpapers. B&W illustrations. Condition of the books is VERY GOOD; spines are dry and crackled, esp Vols 1, 3, 5, and 6. Ends of spines worn, rubbed. Corners and edges lightly worn, rubbed. Cover of Vol 1 has several tears to paper. Vol 4 has single tear. Light to moderate foxing throughout. Bindings very tight. Upper text block darkened.
