Voss (1882-1949), auto parts manufacturer in New York, and George Olson, w/ embossed ownership stamps on ffep. First edition, May, 1929 printing (code E-D), of this well-written and fascinating Jazz Age history of the formation and rise of the American Automobile industry, with extended accounts of Durant, Chrysler, Ford, Willys, White, Franklin, Dodge Brothers, Winton, Chandler, Nash, Duryea, and many others. Very scarce in original dustjacket.
