Tokyo: Japan Racing Association. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. Sturdy, attractive hardcover copies, some, the earlier editions, being bound in blue cloth, but others, later editions having been bound in green cloth covers, all having gilt-lettered titles and illustrations on covers and spines. Spines and bindings are tight, pages are bright and clear, and there is only minimal wear to covers and tips, mostly minor scuffing to extremities. There is an occasional cracked or slightly loosened paste-down, an odd volume has begun to separate cover from text-block, else easily Very Good bordering in Near Fine. Consists of Gallery, Racing Review, Leaders in Racing and Breeding, Statistics, Reference Materials, and a Directory. Short, squat, tightly bound, heavy volumes, oversize. Previous owner's ink-stamps on a couple of the endpapers. Missing only the 1980 volume. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
