Thick, heavy Folio 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 4 1/2." Preliminaries of approx 300 pages + 1342 pp. + approx 125 pp. supplement. Profusely illustrated with b/w engravings, color plates - some full page, maps. Bound in full, black textured leather with raised bands, padded covers with stamped leaf design on front, decorative gilt letters, all edge gilt, black textured end papers. Spine rubbed, dusty to the touch, with wear at the heel and crown. Edges rubbed with bottom edge of rear cover rubbed to the board. Outer hinges splitting, covers in place. Internally Very Good, page block tight, pages and plates very clean and bright with little wear. Good overall.. Hard. Good/No Jacket. Folio.
