Large octavo. viii, 282pp. Eight color illustrations by Mjeska, each with a protective sheet containing a printed caption - and the frontispiece signed by Majeska in the margin. Black cloth over beveled boards, the spine stamped in gilt (the title on a white background); an old sip of paper used as a book mark has left some offsetting/ darkening to the top margins of p164/65, otherwise a Near Fine copy. Housed in the original blakc paper-covered slipcase, a mounted title label on one side; the slipcase is worn a bit and split at the toop fore-edge, but generally is Very Good or better.
