SIGNED. 81pp. Quarto [26 cm] Beige cloth covered flexible boards, with gray ink stamped linear square designs on the covers, and a red ink stamped pony vignette on the front cover. The date of publication has been stamped in Roman Numerals with red ink on the front cover. Top edge trimmed, other edges deckled. With publisher's slipcase (Same limitation number as the book). The book is in near fine condition. The title on the spine has faded. With the acetate dust jacket. The dust jacket is chipped, and has a loss from the bottom edge. The loss measures 3" wide by 1" deep. The slipcase is in good condition, with light rubbing and scratching to the surfaces and edges. There are several splits along the edges. There is also a small loss from one of the edges. Signed by John Steinbeck on the limitation page. Number 393 of 699. John Steinbeck won the Pulitzer Prize for Grapes of Wrath in 1940.
