Howes calls for 3 portraits in the first edition but this copy has the frontispiece and one portrait bound inside the text. Brown pebble cloth hardcover with title on spine. Cloth binding is lightly edge worn and faded with light spotting. Occasional brown spots to the text. One page with an ink stain? A fair or better copy.
