A Nero Wolfe mystery that tackles civil rights when an African American man who helped Wolfe solve the case in Too Many Cooks asks for his help. Blue binding with black titles on front cover and spine, black top edge. A little edge wear, corners and spine ends a bit bumped, spine cocked, former owner's name on front free end paper, interior pages lightly tanned, binding tight. Illustrated dust jacket with black titles on front cover and white titles on spine is a little soiled and spotted, shows some edge wear with small chips and tears, a few wrinkles, crease in jacket near spine, not clipped.
