Shaken, edges scuffed, spot to page edge, binding a bit stressed at title page, contents unmarked; good overall. Dustjacket is age-toned with a large chip out of the front panel (2.5 inches tall and across), chips/tears at edges and some overall soiling. "The sections on Ukrainian baking are especially fascinating. There are various recipes for traditional, festive breads like babka, coffee cakes, innumerable old-world bread pastries, and also delicate tortes, tea dainties, and honey cakes that keep fresh for weeks". A sought-after classic of Ukrainian-Canadian cookery, in one of the earliest printings I've seen in decades.
