Publisher Nelson Doubleday's copy with his bookplate fixed to front pastedown. Spine soiled, as common; but otherwise an exceptionally nice copy. William Heinemann LTD compliments card lain in, bearing the name of C.S. Evans. Doubleday purchased a controlling stake in the English publishing house, Heinemann, in 1921.
