The double leaves bound into a book at the front and rear after
printing. These pages consist of a double-size sheet that is folded,
one half is pasted against the inside cover and the other is serving as
the first free page in the book. These endpapers are usually left blank
and in rare cases printed information is placed here. When seeking an
autograph an author or artist of a book usually sign this space.
Bookplates can also be stamped here or glued in to this empty page.
