"This book was difficult to read maybe with a little polishing it could had been a better story. The editor didn't edit it at all but I've seen this before with Publish America's books. The story was scary and even believable due to her graphic details.
My sympathy went out to the family that went through such happenings. Although she stated she was afraid it would follow her if she moved but I believe I certainly would have taken the chance to relieve my family from such an haunting if I could.

"I read the book Sinister Seduction the Horrific Haunting of a southern Family.
The book was on a ghost that lived in the home with an American family and the ghost would do things to scare the family and as time went on they had a ghost hunters team to come in and do an investigation which didn't work in removing the spirit and the lady was raped by the entity which reminded me of the movie the Entity, although the spirit didn't beat this lady up but he did make it hard on her. It's an okay story if you believe in things of this nature."

" I read Sinister Seduction: The Horrific Haunting of a Southern Family, I believe her editor should had done a better job, but over all the story was good the haunting was unbelievable. I know before I move my family in an older home I will check it out now after reading Shirley's story. I heard her live on the Ken Deel talk show back around Halloween and I listened to her tell a lot of the haunting then and I had to read the book to understand what happened, although the plot was good but her editor at Publish America could had done a much better job editing her book. Yes, I will be looking for more of Shirley's books and hopefully she will write fiction instead of hearing a terrible haunting like this, but I wish her and her family great happiness and I thank her for telling her story it had to take so courage and strength to share such details of the rape that she went through by the supernatural. "I read Sinister Seduction The Horrific Haunting of a Southern Family by Shirley Sexton.... I found the story to be interesting but it did have a few grammar problems that I'm surprised the editor didn't catch. Although her story was convincing and being her first book I looked over the small issues and still enjoyed the book, it was a awesome haunting experience for her family mostly for her I felt the worse for knowing she was raped by the spirit in her home. In general for her first book it was okay I still recommend that if you like a good haunting story than you would enjoy this one.
