"Coto, Child of the Ocean is a unique and delightful book of adventure for independent readers ages 9, to 12, as well as readers of any other age. New author, Autumn Leaf, really captivates the reader through imagination, and scenic dialogue. Legend has it that Coto, a wild child of the ocean, is said to be mothered by a mighty white seal, is protected by the eyes of a hawk, and swims, and eats side by side with the mammals of the sea, as if he is one of them. Unfortunate circumstances put Coto into a position of becoming the hunted after he is witness to a crime of illegal poaching to the seals, his family. He is accidently brought together with an old Indian named Lone Wolf, and his grandson Tiger, and soon all three are fighting for survival while trying to escape the criminal's wrath. It is an adventure right to the end. Destined to be a classic; Coto, Child of the Ocean. "
