Book description: New York: The Crowell Publishing Co., 1906. pp: 166, [2, maps], [2, index]. 81 pages of maps, many being fold-outs to approximately 23".The last map is of the Russo-Japanese War with thumbnail sketch of the war, and is backed with a drawn paln of the Panama Canal. Contains fold-out map of the routes to the Yukon Gold Fields. Several of the fold-outs for the individual states are printed on a much thinner stock than is the bulk of the atlas. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally near fine, except for the top edge of one map that had come loose and has been carefully re-attached ( originally tipped in to the gutter of the succeeding page). Bound in marroon faux leather titled and decorated in gilt to the top board. Wear to all corners and edges and lacking the majority of spine cover, leaving the cloth bare. Not overly pretty on the shelf, but still a fine reference ( if you have good eye-sight or a strong magnifying glass....the names are small and in the highly populated areas, very congested.). First Thus. Decorative Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Atlas..
