One Corpse Too Many, The Benediction Of Brother Cadfael, A Rare Benedictineby Peters, Ellis
Book Description1980: Morrow Hard Cover. Very Good+/Very Good+. First Edition, U.S. Book approaches flawless and would be so graded but for a neatly penned "2" (the books number in the series) FEP. Jacket has three tiny punctures at head of spine, edgewear at head/foot of spine to depth of 1/8th inch with microscopic chip out. Jacket has very little scuffing and no creases looks handsome in mylar jacket. A prettier copy by far, I think than, the detailed accounting might seem to indicate. 2 additional Cadfael's are included with this one, "The Benediction of Brother Cadfael" a clean, sound xlibrary copy of the 1st and 2nd Cadfael novels, large format, handsome jacket, containing "a restful entre'act between the two mysteries, a descriptive text and 50 full colour plates bring to life the Shropshire and Welsh border regions used as a backdrop for these tales, images ofthe Abbey, castle, poppy fields and golden Hills and rustic Gwytherin...." Book and jacket, while sound, have many xlib stamps and marks, jacket taping scars boards, etc, but for being xlib I'd grade as VG-. JUST RECEIVED and added to these 2 for sale as group of 3, A Rare Benedictine, mass market paperback of 3 pre 1988 short stories, cute with bit of cover scratch, in VG+ condition. 3 at the listed price.
