Full decorative cloth upper board and spine, some hndling wear and soiling, spine faded, small splits head and tail, corners lightly bumped and just starting to fray slightly to tips, school prize plate to fep dated 1910, very minor instances of scattered foxing, (xii) 364pp + 24 coloured plates. The text block is still well attached by the sewing but the glue seems to have perished slightly so that the sections show gaps between each other where they are sewn at the binding. Top edge gilt. very nice copy, a little foxing to final page and rear fep. . First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Granville Fenn. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
