Overseas customers may pay by cheque in pounds sterling, electronic transfer, Paypal, bank draft or by credit/debit card through Biblio. For UK buyers: When you order a book, a fixed amount (£2.95) will automatically be added by Biblio for postage and packing. This charge will cover the cost of sending items up to 1000 grams packed weight. If you order an item whose packed weight exceeds 1000 grams, you will be informed by Biblio what extra amount is needed and asked to authorize the payment. If you are not prepared to make the extra payment, the order will abort. Books are sent by first-class post when the shipping charge paid makes this feasible; otherwise they will be sent by second-class post. For all overseas buyers: You may be asked to pay an additional amount if you order a heavy item. You may of course have books sent by either air- or surface-mail. For European buyers: Books are always sent to customers in mainland Europe and the Irish Republic by air, as the additional cost over surface-mail is negligible. For overseas buyers outside mainland Europe: A very light item (under 240 grams when packed) will be sent by air-mail even though you paid only the set charge for surface-mail. This is because the charge you have paid will cover both air-mail postage and packing.
