Front and rear hinges loose but holding. Heavy, dark blue end papers. Gift inscription: 'Merry Christmas - 1905 - J.F.K.' (Sorry, folks. The JFK we are all familiar with wasn't even born yet, so this is a different JFK.) Alternate title on front board: 'Charles Dickens Year Book' Compiled by his eldest daughter, Mary, with five illsutrations by his youngest daughter, Kate. A lovely little book with quotations from Dickens' work printed on one side of the page, with empty calendar boxes on the opposite side.. First US. Hard Cover. Very Good. Illus. by Dickens, Kate. 32mo - over 4" - 5" tall.
