Book desription: W. B. Saunders Company, 1992. Volumes 1-4. This 4-book set was originally the property of a U.S. Community Army Hospital. Each book has a piece of tape on the spine which covered a library sticker at one time. The top of the sticker has been removed, but the unprinted white bottom remains attached to the cover. The stickers and stamps on the inside of the front and back covers were scribbled over with black ink when the books were withdrawn from the hospital's library (the black ink on the front endpaper created a pink stain on the next page, the Title Page). The library's name, which was stamped on the three outer edges of the pages, has been scribbled over with black ink, as well. Finally, the word "Salvage" is stamped on the front endpaper and on the inside of the back cover. No creases or tears. Each book has a scratch or scrape on the back cover. One book has some tiny black spots on the front which I believe was caused by the same pen that was used to scribble out the library's name from the edges of the pages. The books are clean and the bindings are tight. The four books in this set are: [1] Ectopic Pregnancy (Vol. 18, No. 1, March 1991); [2] Critical Care in Obstetrics (Vol. 18, No. 2, June 1991); [3] Lasers in Gynecology (Vol. 18, No. 3, Sept. 1991); [4] Diagnostic Ultrasonography (Vol. 18, No. 4, December 1991).. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.
