Zurich, Switzerland: Verlag Oprecht & Helbling. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. This book has clean, crisp pages with only minor foxing. It contains nine original cuts by Clement Moreau, the pseudonymn of Carl Meffert; the first cut is signed in pencil by Clement Moreau. The book has a gift inscription on the inside cover. The cloth cover itself has light soiling on the front and back, with a small lavender discolored band near the back spine. Back cover a a slight curve and light bumping of the corners. ; 8vo 8"-9" tall; Signed by Signed by Illustrator. .

Unfortunately often misunderstood to mean 8 volumes.
soiling : Generally refers to minor discoloration or staining.
crisp : A term often used to indicate a book's new-like condition. Indicates that the hinges are not loosened. A book described as crisp will not have 'well-read' pages, i.e., where the book will naturally open to certain pages or sections.
Cloth : Generally refers to a hardcover with cloth covering the outside of the book covers.
