The paper of both hinges has cracked but the cloth is still intact, Last thirty pages have a water mark to half of the bottom edge. Bound in the original royal blue cloth elaborately decorated to the top board with coat of arms, rose, thistle and shamrock, entwined oak leaves and lettered in gilt on a black ground; spine lettered in gilt.
