Signed by author on title page, blue fountain pen. 35cm. pp. 31, [1] ad. Very Good-. Covers chipped and taped, music near fine. After the Russian experience, Bax returned to Britain and married Elsita Sobrino in January 1911. They settled in Dublin and Bax became part of the Rathgar circle which met at the home of George William Russell. Also a writer and a poet, many of Bax's poems were published in Dublin under the pseudonym of Dermot O'Byrne. The circle dissolved with the onset of WWI and he returned to London where he developed at first a professional relationship with pianist Harriet Cohen. He would later leave Elsita for Harriet..
