New York: A. L. Burt Company, 1912 This is a very early reprint in a rare dust jacket. Color illustrated jacket is heavily worn at edges. Large chip at head of spine and part of front panel, part of title is missing. Jacket is now protected by Brodart. Tan cloth with brown titles and brown red and grey illustrations of fisherman on spine and cover. Head and tail of spine are bumped. Points are rubbed and beginng to fray. Binding is tight. Previous owners name in pencil on ffep. Black and white frontispiece. 306p. plus several pages of ads. . Reprint. Cloth. Good/Poor. Illus. by Uncredited. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
dust jacket : A protective and often decorative wrapper, usually made of paper which wraps around the binding of a book.

ffep : Front free endpaper. Generally, the first page of a book.
Brodart : Generally used to refer to a clear plastic cover that is sometimes added to the dustjacket or outside covering of a book. The name refers to the company by the same name which produces many book repair and archival products.
Cloth : Generally refers to a hardcover with cloth covering the outside of the book covers.
