Milano Fratelli Treves 1922 1st ed. brown leather/gold 8vo pp406 signed VG-(leather binding to spine missing) A First of this Italian novel. The text-block is VG+, with pleasing leather/gold binding by A. Casciana Roma. On the front of the binding is ''A Benito Mussolini'' with a strikingly designed gold fasces. The leather binding has some corner knocking and is missing from the spine, which is still tightly bound with what appears to be a page from anaccounts ledger. Inside the front blank endpapers is the ink signature U. Arnaldi. Rare.
