Interview With The Vampire

by Rice, Anne

Edition: 1st Edition

Book condition: NF/NF

Book Description

New York: Knopf. NF/NF. 1976. 1st Edition. Hardcover; 1st Printing. 10, 20, 24. 0394498216 . 1st edition/1st printing. Stated First Edition of author's first book, and SIGNED by the author in red ink on a loosely laid in postcard-siz ed piece of paper. The book is bound in dark gray paper covered boards with a black cloth spine with gilt printing, and with red upper page edges. It is straight, clean, tight, the red upper page edge is in excellent condition, and it has no soiling or handwriting; there is, however, a small 'blind' (no color) personal name embossment stamp to the upper title page corner. The dustjacket is the notorious gold foil finish, almost impossible not to find scratched or creased badly. It is price intact, at $8.95, and is really in excellent condition; no hard creases even to the flaps (a couple of small, short and faint wrinkles--one to upper back panel and one to upper front panel--that show when you slant it just right in the light), just a couple of small surface scratch lines to spine and lower front panel that haven't removed the gold color from the foil, and just a mere touch of shelving wear to spine end edges. Quite an excellent example of Ms. Rice's first book! ; Signed by Author .
