Book summary

On the lam after a drug deal, Tim Picasso--perhaps inevitably, a painter--flees to a New England bed-and-breakfast populated by a collection of weirdos, misfits, eccentrics, and the Mafia don who's looking for Tim. The action of the novel takes place in one wild, farcical weekend.
