Book summary

Following a state visit from the King and Queen of England, the body of a young woman, a seemingly innocent White House employee, is found on the third floor of the Executive Mansion. Discovering that the woman was far from innocent, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt assumes the disguise of homicide detective "Broderick" and searches for the killer in a world of speakeasies, mobsters, and restless young women and men with endlessly tangled sexual liaisons.

  "I've only recently found the Elloitt Roosevelt mystery books and I love them! This is one of the best ones I've read so far. The writing is great and the historical aspect of the setting. I feel like I have a front seat to history being made. It's very exciting! The twists and turns of the murder mysteries was good. I really enjoyed the book and look forward to the next one. Eleanor was very funny and down to earth. I like her alot.
