Book summary

After serving a stint in prison for killing a professional hit man who was trying to kill him, Harding is trying to get his life and career as a private investigator back on track. Unlicensed, Harding resorts to taking cases illegally. His first post-prison gig seems straightforward: take photos of a philandering husband with his girlfriend. But the case takes a serious turn when the girlfriend winds up dead and Harding finds himself scrambling to avoid another run in the slammer.
