Includes letter and greeting card from the author. Inscription on flyleaf in ink states: "For Reginald Hailing, with gratitude and good wishes, From Vera Wheatley, August 1957". The enclosed Christmas card c. 1950 vibntage is signed by Wheatley. the enclosed letter is a 2-oage typed letter to Hailing (too lengthy to reproduce here in full) which discusses various matters including the book. Letter is signed at foot of p.2 by Wheatley in ink, and a handwritten note added by Wheatley, also in ink: "One is almost afraid to avow love for anyone of the same sex nowadays!
