Book summary

Philip K. Dick's work was largely ignored by all but the most dedicated science-fiction readers. In 1982, director Ridley Scott adapted "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep," first published in 1968, into the movie "Blade Runner." Now, from noted science-fiction writer K.W. Jeter, comes a sequel to "Do Androids..." which, upon a recent reprint, was also retitled "Blade Runner." Rick Deckard is desperate to save Rachael, the android he rescued in Los Angeles, who only has a four-year lifespan. He has also discovered that Pris, the replicant whom he killed, is actually not a replicant at all but a human. Now Deckard is being pursued for her murder.

Media reviews

"K.W. Jeter has uncannily inhabited [Philip K.] Dick's mind and is continuing your story with a duplicate eye, voice, weltanschauung."
