While not a labor union nor defenders of all miners or working men they did have enough protecting influence that the coal owners were not able to implement industry-wide pay cuts in the Pennsylvania coal region until the power of the Mollies was broken. Page ends have slight age toning. Pages have no markings or undelining. Binding tight spine straight. Dust jacket is intact. Shows moderate yellowing, soiling, rubbing and scuffing.
