When it froze over, neighbors used it for a road, with horses pulling sleighs between farms. Meg, almost ten, was really named Margaret, but only called that when she was naughty. She heard that name a lot, because Meg was great at devising all sorts of escapades. Binding has light wear on the bottom edge. The dust jacket, covered in mylar, has a chip on the top and a tiny tear at the spine. 139 pages, a few have light soil marks; the first two pages have a wrinkle close to the spine. No tears. Price not clipped. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
