Title continues: "Jemte utforliga foreskrifter for tillredning af bakverk, sylter, glacer, barwiner och safter, finare warma och kalla drycker, afwensom ol, mjod och wanliga drickes-sorter; atskilliga forwaringar genom inlaggning, insaltning, torkning. m. m.; beredning af attikor, sirap, senap, o.s.w.". Spine decorated with impressed design including bands, title on leather insert. Corners of boards rubbed, some worming to lower part of front hinge, tear to t.p., otherwise a well-preserved example of a rare cookery title. Printer's details on last page given as "Stockholm, Elmˇns & Granbergs Tryckeri. (4), 248, (2) pp. A second edition was published in 1840; Uppsala University Library's online catalogue reports both editions, but does not identify the full name of the author.
