The newspaper was produced by enlisted men for the soldiers, to keep morale up. This is bound in an elephant folio (60 cm by 46 cm) with an eagle atop a plague with the title in raised letters. Most copies were published by the National Tribune in Washington: this is a rare, unusual variant. An important record of the American soldier in WW One France.
