Book Description
During the twentieth century, Jesuit priest-scientist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin developed a truly innovative spirituality. By integrating evolution and science into the spiritual life, Teilhard presented a new way of understanding the Word of God. This book is a spiritual guide for the day-by-day use of Teilhard's ideas.
The author, Louis Savary, holds doctorates in both mathematical statistics applied to the social sciences and in spirituality and theology. Author and co-author of many books, Savary has taught courses on spirituality at St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT. He has also served as adjunct professor of spirituality at various universities. He has also given seminars on The Divine Milieu. Currently, he lives in Tampa, Florida.
"...[This book is] a wonderful example of the new convergence that is taking place between religion and science and spirituality. Could there be any other future?" --Father Richard Rohr, OFM, Center for Action and Contemplation, Albuquerque, New Mexico
